PRESENTATION<\/span>

Founded in Li\u00e8ge in 1920<\/span>, Somef has become a reference and a sound value in industrial logistics geared to waterways.<\/p>\n

Combining handling and storage operations with inland and maritime waterways, Somef carries out its activities on many sites such as Li\u00e8ge-Monsin, Val Saint-Lambert in Seraing or Tihange.<\/p>\n

Although still very closely connected with the steelmaking world, Somef has undergone a successful conversion, has diversified its clientele and services, and is now looking at the future with peace of mind.<\/p>\n

Some figures\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/span>:<\/p>\n

1<\/span><\/em>.050 million tons\/year<\/span><\/em><\/strong> of all types of goods transported<\/p>\n

2.350 million tons\/year<\/strong><\/em><\/span> of all types of goods handled<\/p>\n

Owner of the administrative building of Monsin and a second building in Jemeppe.<\/p>\n

Concession holder at the ports of Monsin, Ivoz, Jemeppe and Tihange.<\/p>\n

Owner of a fleet of 2 towboats and 8 barges.<\/p>\n
